Patrick Holert
Patrick Holert, CFA, CAIA, ERP, CIRA is based in New York, NY and has over 30 years of professional experience in digital assets, investment research, private equity and consulting. His experience in digital assets includes more than four years in executive leadership roles with responsibilities which have included operating large-scale Bitcoin mining businesses. Over 2025 to 2026, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Ecohash LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of one of the largest Bitcoin mining operators, Cango Inc (NYSE: CANG). During 2021 to 2023, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Celsius Mining LLC (now Ionic Digital), where he managed a fleet of more than 120,000 Bitcoin mining rigs across seven states; negotiated multiple vendor, contractor, hosting and leasing agreements; and directed a team which developed 87MW of mining sites in Texas.
Prior to working in digital assets, Mr. Holert served at BBVA Securities in New York over 2011 to 2019 as a Research Principal, supervising the activities of more than 60 research analysts and personnel in the US, Europe and Latin America. Over 2016-2019, he concurrently served as Head of U.S. Credit Research, preparing reports on upstream and midstream energy companies that were issuers of high yield debt. He has also covered telecom operators in Asia as a Senior Equity Analyst with Nomura Securities in Seoul, Republic of Korea and Bangkok, Thailand; and managed private equity capital in Southeast Asia for the Beta Mekong Fund and the Thai Development Capital Fund. Additionally, he founded and managed a consulting and advisory company, Sun Capital Research, completing projects in several countries in Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Holert has a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in mathematics and economics from Claremont McKenna College and specialized in finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, Energy Risk Professional and Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor. Previously, he was registered with FINRA Series 4, 7, 16, 24, 63, 79, 86 and 87.
Michael Holert
Michael Holert, CPA (inactive) is based in Los Angeles, CA and has more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles in accounting and finance with public and private companies across multiple industries, including: sports and entertainment, manufacturing, consumer products, Ecommerce and financial services.
Mr. Holert served as Chief Financial Officer with Consumer Attorney Marketing Group over 2024 to 2026, directing all accountant and financial activities for the company. Previously, he served in successive financial and accounting roles over 2009 to 2023 with Anshutz Entertainment Group, the largest owner and operator of sports and entertainment businesses globally. Over this time, he ultimately served as VP of Finance for AEG, and later as VP of Treasury for AEG Presents.
He has also served in accounting and finance roles with Nestle USA; various subsidiaries of Interactive Corp (NASDAQ: IAC) including Citysearch, Evite and Gifts.com; and Networks Electronic Corporation. Early in his career, Mr. Holert served as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has a BA in Management and Accounting from Sonoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
